Drupal FCKeditor image style stripped from teaser

I'm using Drupal 6.x with the latest stable corresponding FCKeditor release. Here's my problem - whenever I insert an image and style it, using the "advanced" tab, everything is fine until I save the page, close it, and re-open it to edit it. As soon as I do, the style gets stripped from the teaser.

So, if I have, for example, a left float on an image, the image will stay left-floated in the body, but not in the teaser. This means I have to manually copy over the image and content from the body to the teaser every time I edit a page. It's driving me crazy! Does anyone know a fix for this?

I do! I ran across this problem back with Drupal 5.x. What you need to do is browse to the FCKeditor settings, and then disable the "HTML filter" under "security" settings for a profile you trust. Of course, you'll need to use this profile when editing your page to see the style stay intact.
