Repeating Events for Drupal Date + Calendar?

Okay, so I finally made the switch from Drupal's event and eventrepeat modules to the date and calendar module, and boy am I impressed. The implementation is way more clean, and completely reliable. The event and eventrepeat modules are a distaster.

Anyways, I've got everything working, but I need to get repeating events back. I must have missed a setting somewhere. Can anyone help?

I'm using Drupal 5.x, and 5.x versions of the modules.

As an aside - what does everyone think of the gcal_events (puts Google Calendar events in sidebar) module?

    Hi Xman,

The repeat event settings I believe is turned off by default. To enable repeating events for a Drupal Date + Calendar setup (in this case, using 5.x versions), you would simply browse to your event content type, edit it, and make the following settings change:

Scroll down to "data settings" and change "multiple:" from "Never" to "Repeating." Assuming you have the Date Repeat API module installed, you'll have access to a repeat date control when you create a new event.

As for the Google Calendar, that's fine if you feel more comfortable using Google Calendar. However, there's a distinct search advantage to housing your event content on your own site, in this case by using Drupal's Date + Calendar modules. If you don't, you won't get the search benefit (traffic).
