    I'm using Thunderbird 3.x on a Windows 7 PC, and I got the following error message recently when trying to download a message using MailWasher Pro:

    There was an error downloading the following message:
    From: [Name]
    Subject: [Subject]
    This message may contain a virus or there is not enough disk space. Skip this message?

    And then it allows me to choose "Yes" or "No." I chose "No," but that doesn't seem to help.

    Meanwhile, in Thunderbird when I try and download email, I get the error message:

    Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.

    Any ideas?

    Okay, after restarting both pieces of software, the error message has gone away and I'm able to download the email in Thunderbird. Weird!
