I'm using Mozilla's Thunderbird v 3.1.6, and I have my emails in my inbox sorted by threads. If I select the view that allows me to see only the unread messages in threads, and I want to click on the arrow next to a thread to expand it and see (and possibly reply) to a new unread message within a thread, it won't work.
In other words, I can't expand threads in Thunderbird when I'm in the "unread thread" view. If I change the view to "all" (not just unread) thread view, clicking on the arrow and expanding a thread works fine.
The only way to reply now while in unread thread view is to double click an email message, which causes all the messages in the thread to open. Actually, it opens the latest message the same number of times as there are message in the thread.
Is there a fix on the horizon for this?
