Thunderbird - how to include signature in forward?

I'm running Thunderbird 3.x, and I can't for the life of me remember how to change the settings so that my signature is included in emails when I forward. Currently, it only shows up when I create a new email, and I'm having to copy and paste it from a new, blank email into every email I forward, which is a pain.

I think I initially disabled the reply from being included in the forward, but now I can't figure out how to put it back. Any ideas?

Browse to Tools > Account Settings > select your Email > Manage Identities > Edit Your Identity > Composition & Addressing tab > check "Include signature for forwards."
