When I have Quickbooks 2010 open, my Online Armor firewall is asking me if I should let the file DBEXTCLR11.EXE through. It gives me the following info:

    • Program: c:\Program Files\Quickbooks\dbextclr11.exe
    • Product Name: SQL Anywhere
    • Product Version: 11.0.1.22502
    • iAnywhere Solutions, Inc.
    • iAnywhere.SAClrClassLoader

I've never heard of iAnywhere, sounds fish. If the company was "Intuit," I'd be more inclined to let dbextclr11.exe through the firewall. Any thoughts? Has anyone heard of this file/ does anyone know if it's essential or what it's for?

I believe it's an SQL Anywehre file, and is part of Quickbooks. You should be able to allow it. If you're really worried, you can always block it and see if it impacts Quickbooks. If it does, go back and let it through.
