bbpress DB Error: cannot select

    I'm trying to install bbPress 1.0.3. I'm on step one where it looks for my configuration file and I enter my database details. I know the info is correct, because if I enter the wrong password it will display a red error message. But if the password is correct, it moves to a blank page with the error message: DB Error: cannot select.

    Any ideas how to resolve this?

    It sounds like maybe your bbPress database user doesn't have access to the database. In cPanel, make sure you give the correct bbPress user (that is assigned to your bbPress database) all the permissions they need (privileges) to act on the database.
