I've got Ubercart up and running on my Drupal 6.x site, and transactions seem to be going fine. However, this morning I got an email from Paypal entitled "Paypal Instant Payment Notification Warning."

The email said that my Paypal IPN URL (http://example.com/paypal/ipn) is failing, and that they would disable the IPN service if I don't resolve the issue.

Problem is - I have no idea how to resolve the issue?! When I visit my IPN URL I get a 404 "Page Not Found" error.

    Help??

You don't need IPN with the latest release of Ubercart - Ubercart automatically contacts the Paypal server and takes care of the sending of messages back and forth between your website and Paypal. Therefore, you can simply disable IPN within your Paypal account by logging in and browsing to your Profile > IPN settings.

You'll also want to browse to "Website Payment Preferences" under "Selling Preferences" on your Profile page, and make sure that, if you have "Auto Return" enabled, that your "Return URL" is valid.

You can set it to http://www.example.com/uc_paypal/wps/complete to force visitors back to your website upon payment completion within Paypal.
