Try logging in with a different browser (ie. establishing a different session). If you still see the error, it's probably a problem on Paypal's side, in which case you might just need to wait it out.

I'm getting the message "Sorry — your last action could not be completed" on Paypal.com. I was trying to send someone money, when the message appeared. Now it appears on every page of Paypal no matter what I try or where I try and go. Thoughts?

There's a couple things you can try. First, always make sure you're logged into your Paypal developer account when making sandbox tests/ purchases (and make sure you're logged in using the same browser in which you're conducting your sandbox tests).

The second thing to make sure is that you're conducting the purchase using the "buyer" email address you setup in your Paypal account.

If none of that works, and you're using subscriptions - make sure the sandbox buyer email address is a business or premier account. This are required to process subscriptions.

I just installed Ubercart with Drupal and am loving it. I got Paypal pretty much up and running using my sandbox account, but I keep getting this error when trying to conduct a "test" checkout:

We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller

I've checked the email address, and can't think of what else could be going wrong?

obelix on "Paypal Virtual Terminal with Subscriptions?"

I'm intrigued by Paypal's virtual terminal service - it lets you accept credit card numbers by phone, fax, or in person, and key them in manually. The advantage of this approach is that you take the overhead away from clients - ie. they don't need to sign up for a Paypal account.

The drawback is that the service costs $30/ month. So, unless you're anticipating a number of virtual terminal type transactions, it's probably not worth it.

My question - as far as volume is concerned the virtual terminal is worth it for me. But will it work with subscriptions? Ie. can I have the virtual terminal automatically withdraw from a client's account every so often? Or do I need to enter each transaction manually?
