And that is the <strong>retry delay</strong>. </p> <p>About one out of four times, an upload will not succeed, and a message will appear saying that SmartFTP will "retry" at HH:MM:SS. Currently, all my uploads go to the bottom of the transfer queue. I realize I now need to adjust the "default favorite", which is strange in itself, but it's still uploading the files and folders I have wildcarded to exclude.</p> <p>Here's how I adjusted my filter:<br /> - Tools &gt; Settings<br /> - Under "General" in the list on the left click "Favorites"<br /> - In the panel on the right, under "Default Favorite" click "Edit"<br /> - Under Options select "Enable" and check the box for "ignore case"<br /> - Under Filter List &gt; Type select "Exclude"<br /> - Click the 'new' button to the right of the word Filter<br /> - Copy and paste the following into the Value field: *\.svn*<br /> - Double-click on the words "File (Name)" and a dropdown list will appear. Select "Any" from that list.<br /> - At the bottom of the screen, click "OK" to save your changes.</p> <p>I even used a regex filter (*\.svn$) that someone suggested, but no luck. I'm about to renew my subscription, and for the first time noticed the coupon code field during checkout.</p> <p>I Googled for SmartFTP coupon code and didn't find jack. I for the life of me don't know why companies always include a coupon code field - especially if there's no coupon to readily be found. In my opinion this only makes users feel like they're getting ripped.</p> <p>Anyways, sorry for the rant. If anyone has a code that would be much appreciated. </p>
