I think the auto-protect capability exists as part of the Mollom module now. Try updating Mollom to the latest version, and then browse to Site Config > Mollom > Add Form > "Node: Webform form" > and set your preferred settings.

Is there a way to auto-protect webforms (using captcha or mollom) in Drupal? I realize you can add protection to the webforms one by one, but for a client setup this isn't ideal, as it gives them an additional, rather complicated step to perform.

It seems to me that the auto protection of webforms is a logical extension of the existing capability to auto protect all contact forms, comment forms, etc.? Any chance there's a patch out there that works that I don't know about?

That did it! Thx CWD <img src="http://forum.werockyourweb.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

Completely uninstalling webform and re-installing it fixed the issue. I also increased the name varchar for the variable table from 128 to 255, but that was earlier and didn't seem to affect anything.

Try uninstalling and re-installing the webform module (with the latest version), as well as deleting and re-uploading the modules/watchdog folder. And you may want to delete all the webform content as well - backing up info in case you need to re-create them.

Thanks, that did it. Repair operation succeeded. However, now I'm back to getting the LOCK TABLES error. I updated Drupal 5.x core and webform module, still no luck. Any other ideas?

Sounds like you need to increase your PHP memory in php.ini. Ask your hosting provider - they should be able to do this for you.

DrupalJunkie on "Drupal Add Recaptcha to All Webforms?"

I see that I can install reCaptcha and that I can add it one by one to webforms on my Drupal site based on the form ID. But it would be optimal if I could simply add the captcha to all webforms on my Drupal site. Is there a way to do this?

Specifically, I have client sites where the client has permissions to setup as many webforms as they like. The problem is, the process for having them manually add recaptcha to each form via the node ID is rather cumbersome, and it doesn't always get done - thereby exposing the server to risk.

So - is there any way to tweak the module or template file, or even create a new module, that will automatically add captcha's to all webforms on my Drupal sites? I notice in the captcha admin that I can do this for forward forms now, which used to not be an option. Hopefully this same feature will be available for reCaptcha soon! I imagine this is a feature that many will use, so I'm willing to sponsor development of this module.
