I'm using the new "2-step" password verification Google offers on their accounts (in this instance, my Gmail account). I can also set "application specific" password's so people can't login to my accounts from another PC by simply guessing/ hacking my pw.

Problem is, how on earth do I change the gmail pw in Mozilla's Thunderbird? I can't seem to find the pw field anywhere in the settings.

The easiest way to set a new pw is to have Thunderbird try and download your Gmail mails once. It will instantly complain and give you the chance to set your new pw.
