MS Word 2010 Password Protect as Word 2003?

    I need to password protect an MS Word 2010 Document in MS Word 2003 encryption so that I can re-open the file in Documents to Go on my iPhone. Apparently the current version of Docs to Go is unable to open files protected with MS Word 2010.

    Open the file in MS Word 2010 and click "Save As" (available under More Commands > Show All Commands) if you can't find it. Then, change the document type to Word 2003 (.doc extension instead of .docx), and under the "Tools" drop-down to the left of the save button, select "General Options."

    A dialog windows will pop up allowing you to enter an open and a modification password. Click OK to save the file. Resync it in Documents to Go. You should now be able to open it - it will prompt you for the password.
