Windows 7 Dual Monitor Mouse Stuck on One Screen

I've got a dual monitor setup on Windows 7, 64-bit. It has been working fine until recently. Specifically, when I updated to SP1. Now, although the desktops "extend," I'm only able to control the mouse on one side. I've tried all configurations, and even rolling back the Windows updates, no luck.

    Any ideas?

When you're in the dual monitor setup screen (in Control Panel), make sure the monitor icons ("1" and "2") are side-by-side, and not on top of each other. It could be that you're able to move the mouse up and down, but not left and right?

That's it! I had the monitors in an up-down orientation (above and below) in the Control Panel, when in fact my monitors are side by side. As soon as you said that, I tried moving the mouse "down" and it appeared on my "left" side screen. After re-arranging the monitor icons to side-by-side, everything is working perfectly. Hi,
Any other suggestions? I have the same issue and the monitors are showing side by side. This worked yesterday and then I rebooted and nothing.
    Thanks

I just had the same issue - monitors side-by-side, but couldn't get the mouse to move to my right monitor.

I switched them to appear top and bottom in the setup screen, then switched them back to side-by-side and it worked.
