Is there a way to apply the folder view in Windows 7 to all folders? For example, I would like to add the column "dimensions" so I can see at a glance what dimensions image files are. However, while I can apply this view to one folder, I can't seem to find the setting that will let me set this as the default view for all folders?

Good question. In Windows 7, you don't have the immediate right-click option to adjust your folder view and apply it universally like you did in Windows XP.

First, you'll want to open an Explorer (folder) window (Start > Right-Click > Explore). Next, click the button in the upper left called "Organize." Select "Folder Search and Option" from the drop-down. This should bring up a window interface similar to the one you had in Windows XP. Click on the "View" tab, and then select "Apply changes to all folders."
