Windows 7 Uninstall what is DocFrac?

    I'm going through my list of programs to uninstall anything I'm not using to free up resources on my Windows 7 (64-bit) PC. The first thing I run into is an entry titled simply "3.1.5". When I click to uninstall it, it asks if I want to remove "DocFrac". Any ideas what this is and if it's essential?

    From what I've been able to dig up on this, DocFrac is open source software that "works without the help of any word processor.DocFrac will allow you to easily convert files between the RTF, HTML and TEXT file formats."
